| Court is a eight by ten plot of water (2-3 feet deep),
usually marked off with kelp buoys since they float on the water. Mainland courts may to
be shallow pools with painted lines on the floor. Net is about five feet off the
waterline, and stretches the entire width. Roller may be substisuted for ball of
equal hardness, size, and weight. Rules: The objective is to splash the ball/roller in your opponent's territory. First to ten wins. 1. No using your hands or legs to hit the ball. 2. If the Roller goes outside the territories, it is considered out on the side who hit it last. 2a.If the Roller eats the kelp boundry, Hitter will be given the doubt and play is halted to replace kelp. 3. Illegal moves are: a. hitting it under the net unless giving ball to server b. touching opponent c. pegging opponent d. sending Roller above fifteen feet in the air(they tend to dry out if they go that high) 4. One duel(round) may not go on for longer then ten minutes. Otherwise Rollers dry out. |
