Jekkal walks you to the edge of a spot where black sand overtakes the area. It is much warmer than the rest of the area, yet more humid. In fact, it sweeps up clouds and causes great lightning. Billows of blue smoke come out of the ground. A small snake stands on the outskirts of the sand.

"Where's Surprize Flame?" You ask the small snake. Suddenly, you feel a horn jabbed into your haunch.

"Gotcha!" The snake smiles as Surprize Flame once again steps back, and emerges from thin air. The unicorn lays on the sand, keeping a fair distance.

"Bladewing has quite a point there." Surprize Flame snickers. "Man, If I had been around when the flame Unicorns had hunters to worry about, I'd last forever! Nobody can get the drop on me when they can't see me? See?" And with that, he vanishes again. Jekkal looks around, gets confused, and waddles forward, going in for slam but hits sand. You take a few steps right and run right into him.

"Stay back a little!" he says. "I don't like being touched by humans." He walks over to a secold flame, not hidden, but well-disguised against the black sand. She speaks softly, causing pictures to form in your mind.

"I am Fantasy Flame, Flame of the Storybook Legends. I hope you enjoy your journey." She grins, and then walks out of your line of sight to a new red flame unicorn. "He is Nature Flame, Flame of Nature.

A fourth flame walks up to you � she's a mare, definately. She whinnies a shrill trill, and then grins at you. "Hello! I'm Songbird Flame, Flame of the Songbirds.
