Jekkal glides you through a lush, untouched landscape you only saw remotely once in a Howard Grant painting. She lands herself over on one slope, listening silently.

"There's nothing here." You look around. "Why'd you bring me here if there was nothing?"

"Now be patient, traveller, there is something here . . . and you'll be very glad you saw it, too. An arrival from the valley.  A 'Vearsha'." Jekkal says, looking over one ridge. "There's the stallion now. See him?"

"He looks a little . . ." You start, and the you notice the colt staring at you.

He walks up to you, ticked. "I look a little what? Cross-bred? Mixed up? WHAT?!"

" . . . You look a little white around the edges." You whimper, stepping back.

"Oh." He bites his lip. "It's just a condition, you understand." He steps back himself. "Everyone in the valley has it... that's just the way we're made down there . . . I'm Galli'Zza, Shy Heart. I guess I should put my sign up, too." With a slight flourish, he picks up a wooden sign with his teeth.

SHTUNK!

He spears it into the ground, leaving you to read it.
