You look around the new surroundings of the clean vessel. When you went through that portal, you expected to be in some exotic area, not here!

"Oh, it's exotic, all right." A creature comes toward you, holding an obsidian staff with a small medallion on the top of it. She looks like a navy blue cobra with arms and wings, and a light blue belly. "I am Jekkal of Kiosko. Well, my actual title is Duchess Jekkal of the Islander Semites, but I couldn't possibly expect you to remember all of that."

"I'll manage." You say to her. "So, your species built this ship?"

"Oh, no. This Windship, Roamer, was built by humans who tried to colonize the islands only a few years ago. We have just won our independence from them recently. We now have our control over the Star Islands Zone again, as we should. There is still a small human settlement on Lokk, but it suits the majority of us fine. It's not as though Semites would want to go there, anyway � but that's an explantion for another time. Please, make yourself comfortable . . . or you could point out a location on the map that I can take you to."
